Change your filters: Changing your filters, as we’ve talked about before, can lead to better airflow and quality of air. A clean filter allows for the most optimum running of your HVAC unit, and prevents engine burnout.
Calibrate your thermostats: This is often done by a trained technician, but you can calibrate your thermostat so that winter efficiency is maxed. Also, it’s a good idea to keep your home heated to a minimum of 68 degrees in the winter to help prevent pipes from freezing.
